    Default my n97 still bricked...help

    please help me..at first, i forget about my phone security code,i tried 12345 & 00000 but it failed...so i reset it using easy reset counter bb5 & write it with JAF..

    after i reboot my n97, it says phone "start-up failed. contact the retailer"

    then what i did, i download the firmware using navifirm (my phone product code: 0586199)..

    after that i flashed it using Pheonix.This is the report:-

    but then,it still says "contact the retailer" thing..after that i tried using JAF,still the same thing....both pheonix & JAF i use dead usb mode...

    so i hope anyone can help me.

    fyi:- the reason i didnt want to send it to the retailer here is that because i have a friend which he send his N97 to the retailer, but until now(almost 6 months), we dont know what happen to his N97...sorry for my bad english Smiley

    the way i flashed is right because at the end, the screen on my n97 appears something like this "Nokia - local made"....after that nothing happens until it says "start-up failed.contact the retailer"...hmmm

    Have you tried a different firmware? Sometimes navifirm firmware bricks your phone (It did to mine!)
