Could it be it's not removing 3.03 just adding on top of it?

Didn't check mine before hand though I think I was in high 20's, deffo not above 30 that's for sure! I've got 24.1MB showing now...

@charlie - no its not. Ovi Maps 3.03 on v50 is firmware embedded, meaning its not anywhere near drive C on the phone. You can do a hard reset and get all 74mb free c memory and you still have ovi 3.03. The beta test version also took up 15mb, so this is actually no surprise.

The missing 7mb I think are added system files. I mean I can get signals now using integrated GPS alone in enclosed rooms. LOL. GPS optimizers. LOL.

ahhh, that's probably it then.. hmmm, maybe somehow, they should've allowed the update to just work on the embedded ovi maps to save phone memory, not that i know it's possible or not. anyway still think it's a good app nonetheless... just my 2 cents...

    Weird..
I updated Ovi Maps on my 5800, but now it shows my location inaccurately - sometimes 2...3 km off.
Browsing the map seems also a little it slower.
