seriously it is so sad that we had to wait a year for a firmware like this
I'm also thinking about another OS, maybe android. the Nokia N8 looks interesting, but without that 12mp camera .. nothing special

Exactly! They never release a stable firmware, after a year the phone becomes usable or something like that via updates
other manufacturers like HTC release cheap phones with sense ui and stuff like capacitive touchscreen. nokia keeps widgetized homescreen for flagship phones and to port it is almost impossible.

I think nokia has really learnt it's lesson. hope it won't be the same with N8
anw, sad that you're leaving ur tube ... i've always felt it's a solid phone despite the bugs.

sry off topic but, hehe as disillusioned as i sound, hope the next firmware(if it's coming), will really be much better.

Seriously though, if it werent for the documentation, I'd really ask you guys "what bugs are you talking about"

Anyway, for Android, tell me when they take off the app limit. For example, I have a lot of apps, and on HTC Desire you get like a 120mb max memory for apps installation. That's pretty limited IMO.

Good luck on choosing a new phone. Although I'd personally suggest the Desire if you go Android.
