Download Lonely Cat Games 'Smart Movie'. it will play flv files. The trial version will have a 30 mins playtime limit

It depends on the characteristics of the flv files. The simple ones (low resolutoin, etc...) should play without any problem. The more sofisticated flv videos will not play even with other video players.
One simple solution is to convert those videos to mp4 with standard specs.

Compare the converted files with each other. If you used identical settings, then they both shouold behave similarly. For example, check if both converted files have the same resolution.

Anyway, it looks like that mp4 is the best video format for Nokia S60v5 phones. So, if you have to convert from other sources (flv, avi, mkv, wmv, rmvb, etc...), then select mp4 as a target file.
