    Default 5800 light sensor

    hey guys i've got a question, i don't relly get it how the light sensor works because my screen intensity its always the same i tryed it when i was outside in the sun hold the finger 1 min on the sensor no change , repeated this in the night with a flashlight same thing.
    Can anyoane tell me what does it do?

    Hahah!! Yes it's not a good sensor. When it's see a little light, phone max the the brightness. I suggest you to adjust the light sensor setting to middle. (It's still max the brightness in light but it's work fine in darker areas and it's really effect the battery performance in better way)

    Light sensor is automaticly adjust your screen brightness level in different light conditions.

    For example: If you use your phone in sunlight it's automaticly max your brightness for better screen visibility. In dark it reduces the screen light for better usage too. But if you move the light sensor setting bar to the right end it will never reduce your screen light in dark. So your phone will always bright in every light conditions.

    At the end the light sensor setting you adjust is only work in dark conditions because when phone sense a little light it will max the brigtness.

    you can set the sensitivity of adjusting background light by going to settings/phone/display/light sensor
