    Default Wallpaper question

Is there an option so that we choose a picture for our wallpaper it automatically resizes to the screen without cropping or stretching?

    Thanks

i don't believe so unless there is a 3rd party app that could do this.

You want to be able to resize form say, 1024x768 to 640x360? There is nothing native that does that. I think if you want to do that, you need to use the image converter app for that. Although I have yet to try.

I just thought it was strange that this phone didn't have any auto resize option when we select an image for wallpaper. In my previous phones I had several options to adapt the image to the main screen. Like original size and fit to border. I miss those options on 5800.

Actually, s40 has this option which is badly missing from s60, there is a 3rd party app which can to this and you can choose it's size( the image). Will check the website and let you know.
