    Default Music Folder

"I am sorry if there is already a post on this but I did type it into the search bar and found nothing."

Is there a way of having my music in a different folder to my ringtones etc without having my phone hacked?. I have tried to Hack my phone but cannot do it hence me needing a way to sort my music without.

If anyone has the time to explain to me what I am doing wrong with the hacking process it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks Scott

Just put the music in a different folder. On my N97 (when I had it) I had my music in 4 different folders on the memory card root and in 3 folders in the mass storage root. No problems at all.

Did you mean if you want to change your ringtone then only Nokia's ringtone only to show up without any another music files?

No, what I mean is when I start music player and it loads all my music, it also loads my ringtones etc that I have even though they are in a different folder to my mp3's. Any clues

    Man, this is absolutely WEIRD!!!
You have a leakage at your Z drive, if you haven't copy it to C or E drive.
Sorry mate, I don't know how to fix it. If you dare, you may delete it from your music playlist, but I think it isn't gonna work.

This is normal behavior, just the way the firmware is programmed. You can change the search to your mp3 folder only (ex: E:/Music) but you will have to hack your 5800 to do this.

Problem is, I can't hack my phone as when I tried I must have done something wrong as it didn't work.

If you delete the file from your playlist, it will get deleted from the phone as well.

Try to make the 'unwanted' files hidden in windows.
