Hey i have the same problem...sometimes just freezes...but don't take the battery out and back in..just long press the middle button which shows all open apps...then long press on the opera icon and click on exit...this will close the programme after a few seconds.

Beta 2 is the most stable. I already compare the ▀2, 3 and final.
For final: sometimes it has to open the battery, sometimes just press the red button and wait til the homescreen appear.

I'm using custom firmware, its just closes itself and brings me back to the home screen, when I hold the menu button nothing is there At least I don't have to take off the battery)) I didn't see that final version brought something cool and I woldn't say its a lot faster...

...opera 10 is a good browser
but requires a lot of ressources/ram
    on s60v5 mobiles,so close background
    apps,active homescreen widgets,
    homescreen apps and shells...
if you use opera 2 hours and more
you will loose 20+ mb ram...
