    Nevermind i found it!
    Settings>Phone>Application sett.>Default apps.

    I think the default browser just sets it that when you open links in sms, it opens Opera instead of the default browser as it used to do. It doesnt change the shortcut in the media bar.

    perhaps its because that appleorangefruit has done sumthing to it.. as u can see, if im not wrong, when u press "0 @ zero" at the dialer, it will open opera instead of default browser..

    Default Apss where available since the first firmware. It's just that nobody used this in their applications.

    And with the final Opera Mobile Version it became available, but you won't notice any changes anyway, trust me. ;-)

    The default apps command string was there, but back then, we were unable to put anything in there.

    and maybe it only works with opera mobile? because i┤m using opera mini and i┤m not able to change the default browser.
    nevertheless i can not understand why nokia built in such a possibility in the fw and it is not usable. it looks like they did not do this thing till the end.

    yeah, it worked for me

    but when i open something up it still opens in the default browser

    Yea, when you open a link or use the media bar, it still opens Nokia Web.
