    Is there a flashlight application out there? So the light on the camera as a flashlight..

    sorry but where in the apps section of s60v5... cant seem to find it thanks

    s60spoton doesn't work. It has the n95 red light problem with 5800 as well. No need to try it unless they have solved it;-)

    In video mode of the camera you can switch on the light. Hope someone will be able to figure out the api to switch on the light in this way and package it as a stand alone app

    well that doesnt work either
    all it does is strobe flashing ( flashing led in intervals which is no good)
    rather one could just start camera application and turn on flash leds or a while ,

    darn.. im really needing a flashlight tool as well. such a basic thing that the 5800 should already have..

    I used to have the feature built in on my SE K750
