    Default Memory cards - 5800

Has anyone got a list of what memory cards are FULLY COMPATIABLE with nokia 5800 XM?, because my kingston 16gb Class 2 does not work with my nokia phone, and the seller has agreed to refund my money back, and i need a new memory card thats fairly cheap 8-16gb (ebay.co.uk).

    Cheers.

I'm using an A Data Turbo 16gig class 6.. working fine so far.. but I wouldn't exactly say it's working 'turbo fast' it's just a little faster than the normal 8gig that came with the phone

I'd suggest getting a minimum class 4, 6 would be better.

That's a good seller. Any micro SDHC card up to 16G is specified to work in the 5800XM. If the card doesn't work it is probably defective.

Go with a name brand and make sure you know how to spot fakes to avoid getting ripped off.

The higher the class the faster the card should be. Avoid class 2 cards, they're too slow.

Note that Sandisk doesn't make a class 6 micro SHDC card. If you see them advertised, they're fakes. The Mobile Ultras are supposed to be the fastest ones they have right now.

my current memory card is a sandisk 8Gb SDHC class 2, which i use for music. i replaced the standard nokia memory card cause it cant handle uploading 1,000+ songs. no problems whatsoever, but i'll keep you posted if there's any problem.
