Default Review: Nokia's latest flagship music handset (X6)

Stuff Magazine takes a look at the Nokia X6, Nokia's latest flagship music handset. But can it make up for the shortcomings of the 5800?

Laughing at the comment about the 5800 not being a big hit, it's Nokia's biggest selling handset ever and it was never touted as a flagship handset as the reviewer seems to think!

These Stuff reviewers from what i've seen before haven't got a clue!

    i agree with mr. G
nokia is the best selling handset, but i dont really get nokia, they have great hardware phones, but they continue to fail in software, this phone could have rocked, and they could have bosted the os a bit :S

they have none above. Currently Nokia's best phone is N900 with 600Mhz processor and 256mb RAM, while htc phones have 1Ghz Snapdragon processors and even more RAM. Software wise Maemo might be powerful but s60v5 have no match if you compare with other platforms in the market today. What makes 5800 popular is actually its music capabilities and for a low price tag, you get almost everything you can wish for.

Indeed. I doubt Nokia will be able to sell more X6 units than 5800XM. Some will go for the design and some for the 32GB storage, but the high price will be the limiting factor. If this was a really a high-end phone, then it could have some chance.

The review is generally OK, but most of what she describes in X6 is already present in 5800XM. That needs to be made more clear...
Nokia X6 is simply behind the competition.

I dont like the X6.. well i would upgrade to that had it been priced closer to the 5800.. but morethan double the price as expected?! for what? it's basically the same as 5800XM inside, w/ new shell outside.."basically"..

biggest let down? SAME PROCESSOR, SAME RAM, so im not expecting any improvements in terms of performance from my current 5800.. i've yet to see a feature that is really different or a significant upgrade from 5800.. have a good comparison and you'll see it's basically the same phone.. very disappointing.

I have no further comment on this review. The things is.. both X6 and 5800 are slightly the same only difference is the price, camera hardware, design and mass internal memory.
