Default Nokia 5800 is very well build!! :D

I just have to congratulate Nokia for doing such a great job building their phones!
Today i dropped my 1 years old nokia 5800 from about three meters, down to a stonefloor..
It landed with the screen downwards, the batterylid fell of and it really sounded like if the phone had
    cracked in many parts

But amazingly it had survived the fall without taking any damage at all, first the unlock
button was stacked and the power-button loose. but i pushed them into place and know it all works without any problems at all

(my friend reasently dropped his Iphone from about one meter on to a wooden floor and the screen cracked completely )

    You were lucky !

But every phone is fragile beside all the marketing involved.

    This supports my theory:

i think you where just lucky the phone landed on the screen down, which means that the impact was spreaded, cause it landed on a bigger surface, if it landed on an edge the phone would have probably shattered into a million pieces :S so you where just lucky i guess ^^

nokia is terrible... my phone restarts by itself, had to put a piece of paper between the battery and the phone... when i first got it i left it in my pocket... bring it out after 15 mins,,, its off... i was like huh? turn it on again, 15 mins in pocket later ...off,
that was when i found out it was a common problem in these 5800s, poorly built.

Yeah, I guess it was kind off a lucky drop from me But it was also pretty scary , because I really thought I'd killed it :P
