i drop my 5800 quite a few times, i'm embarrassed to say, but after a year its still going strong....normally a i grow bored with my phones and get a new every year, but i'm still impressed with the 5800.

You will get stronger plastic cracking sounds that's all, and if it's a slider phone it will wobble more

My mobile has fallen 1 meter down on the edge in shopping centre. I didn't notice any damage at all. Well done Nokia

Dropped my N97 several times already, outside, inside, and it still works like a charm. Not a single crack, and these drops were 2-3 meters of the ground or more. Nokia makes the phones really resistant to these kind of things, becuse i had the n95 and earlier phones from Nokia they all survived a few drops here and there .
