    Default battery charging via usb on n5800xm

    did anyone try this on nokia 5800xm?

    Works fine, but it's slower than charging via a mains adapter.

    that's right mate.. you cannot compare 220V with 5V^^

    i have usb charger (220V)...

    so with this charger i wont brake/burn my phone?

    220v AC is the input to the charger. The output should be 5v DC as not burn or brake your phone. (check your USB is suitable before using). Disconnect all chargers from the wall socket when it's not in use as not to waste energy.

    lol it sound like i said 220V on output ) this usb charger is from blackberry 8250 curve, i know that i should use original nokia, but im curious )

    Certainly you can use USB charging - either from a 220V electrical outlet (via adapter) or in a car (with an adapter) or directly from a PC USB port. The output is 5V.

    The difference between USB charging and using the original power adapter is the amperage. The original adapter delivers higher amperage (about twice higher) than the USB port. For this reason USB charging takes longer.
