    I believe this isn't the handset problem.

    Your problem here is apples to oranges.

    Your phone is being powered by a small battery with no amp. While you computer has a dedicated sound card and power supply. If you want to increase the the volume through your headphones, I would recommend buying a mini amp.

    Why buy an xpress music phone, if you not are able to hear the sound clear ?

    Some headphone just don't get enough "juice". And, some ppl like to play their music extremely loud.

    evil D, you seems to own a lot of phones. How do you compare the audio performance of 5800XM with your other phones. Both headset and Internal Speaker(s).

    On my old Nokia 3230 the Radio is really good in the supplied (cheap) headphones. And it has around 12 levels of volume. I can really enjoy the music even at level 3. (this phone is mono and so no need to talk about the music playback). Where as on 5800XM I need to have the volume level set to more than 60% in order to get any good listening?!

    I use SE Walkman W830i's Headphones with my 5800XM. It sounds grt.

    Default help...music player speaker by the side of the phone can't go anymore louder?

    can't find a topic about this

    i have problem with my phone when i play music i when to option equaliser options new preset i set everything to max but is like no diff with the default preset how come ar or is it my phone has problem?

    my nokia 5610 sound is louder than 5800 dn knw why i think something is wrong with the speaker o.o'

    anyone can kindly help?

    if u feel that sumthing is worng with your speaker y dont u take it to nokia servce center may be they can fix it
