    Default FM Radio recording app

    hello, i wanted to ask if anyone knows an application which makes it possible to record inbuilt fm-radio of our nokia 5800. Any ideas?? I heard about alon mp3 dictaphone but it just uses the mic.. would be great if u could help me

    Inbuilt FM radio? what are you talking about? there aint one on the 5800xm

    Are you sure you have checked the phone menus properly? Especially, Menu>Music>Radio...

    To make that possible, you will need to know if S60V5 allows internal sound recording...
    The recording via microphone would be terrible, so don't even try that.
    I can't remember such application (the closest I've seen were call recording applications)...

    One possible solution would be to use an external mp3 player with Line-In feature (Iriver or Cowon iAudio have that standard). You connect 5800XM with an audio cable to an mp3 player and record FM radio.
    Then again, those mp3 players have also FM radio player, so you can play FM radio and capture music on those players directly.

    yes thanks! But i tried it already with any call recording app i found.^^ (yes, micro doesn't work..) hmm, i have got an iRiver but afterwards i have to put every record on my phone again.

    Any body working on this ? it would be surely a great application. u cud directly record songs from the radio. my friend recorded a song from his corby and the clarity is awesome - same like an mp3 song!
