please read this.. what happened actually,, i started flashing my nokia 5800(Rm-356) prdct code- 0573797 with xtension legacy final firmware files. it was successfully flashed then bcoz of the problem with battery life with that firmware i wanted to switch to photon c6-03 final,, i prepared everything just like earlier for xtension,, i used jaf 1.98.62, all the things were right,, then i followed the proper steps and clicked on flash,, but at the time of pooling phone the phone didn't switched on to test mode while it shows unordinary behavior like the screen color turned to Grey and blinked 2-3 times and then dead/bricked, i plugged out the usb and removed the battery and inserted again then pressed the power button it vibrated normally but fails to switch on,, then i again flashed with original fw files but again the same problem.. then i went through this forum and found in this thread that phoniex will help me,, but there i faced problem with dead usb box.. then at last i again flashed with xtension legacy by using jaf again and the phone switched on and working fine now,, please tell me now what should i do to switch to some other fw like photon,, or original fw..
if you want to flash to another CFW, first flash with OFW and then reflash the new CFW.

    Hi everybody,
I'm nassershah a newbie and I really need helps from friends here.
I would really appreciate of any help/s regarding my phone problems.

My OFW before I did any flashing wt CFW was: RM 356 52.0.007.
I've done more than 10times of flashing.

My third last CFW was "Fahimmuchi N8 V3"..,it went smooth.., then I reflashed it with Photon C6-04 also went very smooth with no bug/s at all. All this while I flashed it with 6 FILES using JAF..., untill..

My last CFW (Currently I'm using it) Shadow 1.5" and everything works fine too with no bugs as well.., I flashed this Shadow 1.5 with only 3FILES and this was my first time flashing it with 3 files.

The problem arised when I tried to flashed it back to Photon C6-04..it went dead.., then I reflashed it wt Fahimmuchi N8 V3 it went dead too, coz.. as while the phone is POOLING it doesn't revive..all these process was done with 6FILES... It only revived after I reflashed it again wt the "Shadow 1.5" with the 3FILES given.

Dear friends, My questions are.., how can I revert back to Photon C6-04 or Fahimmuchi N8 V3 or even the OFW..? Please help me to revert back to any of the above CFWs or OFW..., If it is possible please guide me on the process and/or procedures of doing it or at leased point me to the relevant topic/s in this forum as I've searched around.., but I'm still confused and afriad I would bricked my phone 4ever..

I'm not a modder I'm just as same as the rest of us.., who wanted good things in their phone whom learned thru' all the guides and tutorial from the Modders whom had bring wonderful features into Nokia's pale features.

These are my latest phone infos thru' *#0000# are:

    Firmware Name: code: Shadow 1.5

Do you have an attitude problem of some sort buddy?

This forum is run by human being just like you. Sometimes, we don't get to answer posts because we are busy with our lives or we don't have a definitive answer that we think can help you.

Please be patient with an answer. Don't be offended immediately, and the reason why you saw a lot guides for newbies is because we like teaching newbies.

(You can ask around, I taught a lot of people about Symbian modding.) And I also learned a lot from other modders.

Try flashing back to your original firmware then flashing to another custom firmware.

Also, you can ask in the thread of the custom firmware because that's where your problem arose.

You sir, have successfully bricked your device.

    First rule of flashing Nokia

    Never Downgrade!

Try flashing back to v50, if it works for more than 10 minutes without restarting, you're good.

If it doesn't. take it to a repair shop and tell them to fix your PM with a JAF box.

you just need to put the correct files ofw Files first and when selected just replace the files in original folder
