i doubt that you will brick your phone from hacking your phone, but in order to hack your phone you need to flash and if you don't do that right you might brick phone, holding green+red+camera when powering up is called a hard reset, this clears phone memory and settings.

    hi all,
I getting this message " Neither DP1.0 nor DP2.0 was found, or the product cannot be identified"

    Whats the problem?
My 5800 dead when the updating process failed via OTA -(seem to be a Network problem).

from your GUI, it seems like you are using windows 7.

here are a few things to remember when using windows 7.

    download latest phoenix from here

    http://rapidshare.com/files/35989476...nix_2010.8.exe

    place firmware files here

    For Windows Vista and Windows 7 32 bit it's "C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-356\"
    For Windows Vista and Windows 7 64 bit it's "C:\Program Files (x86)\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-356\"

since you have 31, you can hack with Helloox2

    get your certificate from here

    http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.p...c,10091.0.html

then sign HeloOx2 and install it on your phone.

    http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.p...ic,9869.0.html

the flashing methods are only necessary when using a v40 or v50 5800 mate.

it's the versioning of the firmware and totally unimportant to us right now.

when you press the power button in Phoenix, it shouldn't be a long press (hold) it should be a quick press (tap) it should be able to detect it then.
