Well i was going to update overnight with NSU because i have slow internet connection so i left it overnight and woke to it dead. My battery was full so I don't think it will drain the battery?
One more thing on my mind is the cable driver maybe that isn't working? I uninstalled ovisuit and installed the cable driver that came with phoenix/jaf

if it was connected through the usb, it used up more battery, it could have been drained.

uninstall everything related to nokia. PC Suite NSU JAF Phoenix PC Sync

    restart. Install NSU, Install JAF

restart. Try again with JAF. Make sure you have battery.

The reason i'm skeptical about the drained battery is that i tried to flash my phone with jaf and phoenix before but it always had this problem(before my phone was dead and I could see the battery life)
I will try everything again and maybe try on a different pc when I have one available.
thanks for your help and i have one more question, if the phone is dead and it's connected via usb, why would it drain the battery ?

while it was still alive, it will have drained. maybe something went wrong in the middle of flashing it (battery went dead) we wouldn't know because you left the phone.

Try my suggestions mate. hope you can revive your mobile.

Nothing seems to work. Still the same problem. Is there any other solution for flashing dead phones?

another thing to check for is the usb port, you could try changing usb ports and usb cables.

I already tried that The thing is in the past, I encountered the same problem. I was only lucky one time to flash with phoenix, and it was with this cable and this usb port and these same settings, I don't know why it just worked one time.

Ok I've got some good and some bad news. Good news is phone is not dead! I just got my hands on another battery and turns out my battery is ruined! I guess i need to buy another one because it's not charging when I plug my phone. I would also want to appologize for wasting Oreo's time.... I feel stupid.

it's better, especially in your case v21, to update via nsu.
