I went to Nokia Care Center with my phone, admitted that I had changed the productcode to get FM updates prior to my own prodcode and STILL got it payed for by my warranty. Great eh?

The guy at Nokia just said that they would flash the phone with SW coresponding with my original prodcode which they'd also change back to it's original.

By flashing a phone, you are already installing a new firmware.

Hi have tried to flash my dead 5800 with phoenix and it goes through the installation and when the phone should reboot it just stays blank. Then it goes into the countdown and when reaches 0 says connection has been lost.

    Any ideas guys?

    Hi Guys,

First of all, thanks for this - its awesome.

I have a Nokia 5800 RM-356 0575581. When i turn it on it just vibrates and then stays blank. I have installed both Phoenix and JAF software. I have tried both numerous times but to no avail. I have used every firmware available for 0575581 - i dont know which one is correct so i thought i would try them all! When using Phoenix, the screen lights up but the buttons dont and i get the following :

    Code:

The phone is still doing the same as it always did. Is it completely broke or is it fixable?
