Unfortunately, I have this problem too. I've done hard reset two times, and have calibrated the screen but the problem is still present. Pressing something in the menu on the right-hand side of the screen just after unlocking the screen does nothing (doesn't open the desired app) or causes the whole menu icons to literally jump up (sometimes down) the screen and the icons just stay there until I drag them down.

    Hello folks,

No visible or persistent bugs in Nokia 5800 V50 firmware.

Except just the touch of 5800 could have been better.

These guys should add the screensaver functionality, it makes your phone look cooler. (Yeah it eats batter).

    Cheers!

That one is kind of fine though annoying seeing as I can still use the green button below, but the other problem is annoying me more.

I have an alarm set, and neither the stop or the snooze-buttons work. I'm not a snooze-kind of guy so I always just turn it off and get up immediately when I wake up. Thing is that the only way for me to turn the alarm off is to press the red button, nothing on the screen works. And the red button supposedly works as the snooze-button, because I always have to go into the alarms menu and remove the alarm manually, or it just keeps snoozing. :/

Anyone else, or is it just me?
    same problem here buddy........

    firmware v50.005 with new bugs

You're guys with difficulties on answering calls and turn off alarms know that you need to slide your finger and not just press the screen, right ? (when you have your phone locked)

The arrow shows the direction you need to slide...

In this screen, it shows that you need to pass your finger from left to right in order to stop the alarm.
