Default Re: Guide: Flash Your Dead 5800/any BB5 phone using JAF tool

    Thank you so much!
I have finally managed to let JAF recognize my phone, but I can't still complete the flash procedure successfully.

I'm afraid I need a JAF box and a different cable in order to fix my mobile.

That's because I get this error: Phone failed to boot in flash mode CMT

More info on this topic: forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=30103.0

I'm not going to buy a jaf box or any other hardware just to fix a single phone...I'll take it to the nearest nokia center and have it repaired by them.

    Thank you anyway!

are you sure you've unticked crt 308?

i've successfully flashed a 3120c previously with a simple usb cable.

    Yes.
    I only opted out:
MANUAL FLASH, DEAD USB, FACTORY SET and NORMAL MODE.

At the end of the log there's aline who states:
Phone failed to boot in flash mode CMT

I've read somewhere else (included another thread on this very forum) that in this case you actually need a tool box in order to fix it...

I don't know...what else could I try? Phoenix doesn't seem to work, neither...

This is the log i get with my N95 RM-160. I tried 2 different cables in case it's a cable problem but it won't detect the phone. Am i doing something wrong? I notice that when i press the power button just once, i see no action on the screen... Help me :P

And another thing- When i operate the phone i see the nokia screen and then blank screen with light. It happened when i flashed it with phoenix which said it was succesfull but... Anyway It means my phone is dead right?
