Sama problem here. My nokia 5800 is dead because of a white theme installed on phones memory. After restart the phone only vibrates, no lights no nothing.

I have tried on two different computers, on xp and win 7, with phoenix 2008 and 2009, with JAF 1.98.62 and 1.98.64, I also did a fresh install of XP and tried to flash. Always stops at the pooling phone part in JAF and in Phoenix it stops at the waiting for response countdown. When it fails there are colored lines flashing on the phones LCD at first.

BTW what is a ENO firmware? I just found info about it and people said that one should try to flash with ENO FW first and then with normal FW. I tried to flash with ENO in JAF, but when I pressed use ini, it didn't find the file...
Guys, i have found a solution for this problem (although by pure luck).

Here is my story.. had used various CFW (based on ported C6) versions on my 5800 for a month or two and one day after a regular shutdown the phone refused to boot.. tried many times to flash it both with JAF and with Phoenix without success.. JAF ended up on "pooling phone.. not found" and Phoenix was loosing connection with the phone after 98% progress.. brought it to a local service center then (not Nokia care) where it was revived (was not told how.. letem'be'dam'd )..

..so all was good and running original FW v.51 for a couple of weeks until my fingers got itchy again and i flashed it with another CFW, this time only 1 version tested - upakul's final xtension, and had it running for about 2 weeks or so after if died on it's own, without having me turn it off first.. so i started again the procedure, JAF.. Phoenix.. Jaf.. Phoenix.. until my battery died half-way through the Phoenix flash procedure, somewhere around 45-50%, after which I got totally mad and threw the stupid "thing" in the drawer..

..another 2 weeks passed by until i got a friend of mine charge my battery on his phone.. got back home, inserted it in mine and tried switching it on (yes, directly after the unsuccessful flash with phoenix which ended at about 50%).. the only response of the phone was a constant vibration.. kept it like that for a couple of seconds and pulled the battery out.. this result brought my hopes back and immediately hooked it onto the Phoenix flasher, started it over again with the same original FW version downloaded from NAVI (v.51) and guess what.. it worked like charm all the way through.. the feeling was incredible.. now i got my phone back working and my wife got a new perfume from the repair cost saving.. hehehe

Hope this helps other lost souls out there searching for the proper solution (as I had been a couple of months ago).. Good luck and all the best.. keep posting.. cheers

Hey have bit of a small problem...was flashing my 5530.

    Downloaded the files off Navifirm.

My phone when i press *#0000# is:

    Software version - V 30.0.009
    Custom Version - 30.0.009.CO1.01

I downloaded fw version 31.0.005 off Navifirm. Proceeded the steps to Flash my phone (as instructed in the first post) And when i press flash. A warning comes up saying "Warning this is a older firmware than on the phone...Downgrading bricks phone etc"

So yeah?? I pretty sure my phone is currently fw version 30. and im sure i downloaded fw version 31.

But yeah if anyone can help guide me. Much appreciated

    Cheers.

EDIT: well..lol...i went ahead.... it died (bricked) was like "Awesome..." (my heart shattered just a lil), but then just did a dead USB flash...and... wah-la! BINGO

    Thanks guys!

To everyone having cmd 17 block, error booting phone, don't worry its a solvable problem. I had this problem too today, even though the phone has been flashing fine.

What u need to do is restart computer and try again. make sure u have original rofs 2. Then keep flashing until it works!

I failed like 10 times, for 30mins, but on the 11th time, it works! So never give up. you know that u have followed the instructions carefully. its just the buggy software or phone.

    So keep flashing!
