Thank you so much! My Nokia Software Update lost the connection with the phone halfway through the update, and bricked it completely. Phoenix wouldn't have anything to do with it, but JAF tool saved my day. Oh happy day!

    hi.
    need help.
i tried to use j.a.f to downgrade from v31 to v30 on my n95 8gb.

it started to do it and then half way through j.a.f just stopped. it told me that the phone wasnt responding. it told me to click yes when the phone turned on. well it never did. now all i have is a dead phone. i have tried j.a.f to restore it but when it tells me to power on the phone the screen comes on for about 5 seconds and the keys lite up but then it turns off and j.a.f cant find it.

i am trying phoenix at the moment but that keeps telling me that the boot rom was not detected after phone boot up and that it was unable to flash.

is there any way i can rescue this phone?
