    hmmm...
    forgot to mention to re-check Factory Set.
    I think that should get you into test mode after flash.

    Hmm recheck... what box u mean ? In service setting or in flash settings

    hi the 5800 can you flash with jaf and phönix only in dead usb mode
    you must turn phone off
    start jaf with this config but you need the datapack!!! for fw 40

    then when you go on use ini go on nokia5800
    rm356 or other then on this can you look what fw for your phone(red black or so) and you can look what for languages some

    then on flash
    then say PRESS POWER ON THE PHONE NOW
    press fast when not find no problem you can make a 2nd or so
    on my 1 flash i must press 22nd then goes
    and on finish it says
    sry for my english
    done
    done
    you see test mode remove akku then put on and
    but when you have hacked 40 then is unhacked
    when you install jaf and its come question overwrite newer
    driver then say no why you need the new driver from pc suite

    hi, im really having a hard problem with my n85...i killed it lol... anyway i have tried every possible way to revive it but cant, and whatsoever i cant get it 100% perfect, and now its getting so close, the flashing process using jaf runs PERFECT and then when it is done the phone tries to turn on but says "phone-startup failed. contact the retailer" and btw it tries to turn on automatically when i plug the USB but unless i do that wont switch on....plz help me ive been suffering for days

    Contact retailer means some data got corrupted. Your gonna have to get it serviced unless you have a full PM backup.

    This worked like a charm for me, it's true I had the worst week ever !!!! when my phone died when I was trying to update it but doing like the tutorial said, broth it to life again !!! Thank you
