Default Re: Guide: Flash Your Dead 5800/any BB5 phone using JAF tool

I've successfully flashed my nokia 5800 with the JAF tool with PEK v5 key emulator. but even after the tool says flashing successful n inspite of seeing a screen on my phone wid local mode n v30 written at first, i am still getting a blank screen.
i rebooted the phone, removed battery n stuff and tried even hard format. but this doesn't seem to work. my 5800 is still dead. anybody facing the same problem? if anyone has a solution for this, please help out with this. i'm in desperated need to revive my phone back.

    thanx

my mobile is rm-356 with v21, originally it is a saudi arabia red, but it was bricked and i flash it with euro red through phoenix i dont know how i did it coz i didnt change the product code, but i was able to install the fw to it. the KSA red and the Euro RED are with the same variant maybe thats why i have able to do it, But v30 is available on the different variant of RM-356, my question is, can i flash it with a different variant of RM-356 to update it to v30? Sorry Guys, Just a Noob !!!!

    Hi guys,

When I select "use ini", I don't get the option of 5800... I have every phone there apart from the 5800...
