My USB Driver works perfect but I think the problem is, that i dont have .ini files -.-

    btw,
where to change the path, for JAF?

    avenger:
when i ticked Use ini option it gave me different error (i don't remember) so i don't think it's cuz of missing ini files. Try manual selection main files and you'll see.

you can change path only by reinstallation. But if you ment path for FW files its: C:\Common Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-xxx\ or C:\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackages\Products\RM-xxx\ (but i'm not sure about this one)

ok, i finally worked this out
i installed JAF worksuite, afterwards i could change the path of the Product Folder in the Registry.

The .ini files are in usual packages included!

So my next problem is that.. I think a few guys got the same problem..

All seems correct, but at the end, same problem with Phoenix before, the Phone just doesn't answer / doesn't get revived
The Screen first stays white, then i hear the sound, when an usb device gets off, then the phone turns off..
Does somebody know what's the error's reason? Pooling phone...

edit: btw, which battery do u use? original or 2nd production?

edit2: w00t, i tried 2nd time, and now it seemed to work:
    Pooling phone...
    MCUSW: V ICPR72_09w06.2
    03-03-09
    RM-356
    (c) Nokia
    APESW: V 21.0.025
    VariantSW: V 21.0.025
    Prodcode: 0577080
    Done!
I got to the Local Mode at the End and my PC found something new.
But the Phone still doesn't turn on :/

Had a go with phoenix... it couldn't find my dead phone. I've got a second n95 that it scanned and found instantly, but when i tried the same thing with the other phone it couldn't find it... any idea's.

It's actually my Girlfriend's phone so i'd like to get it working for her again.

    Cheers

    gday mates,
so, I bricked my N97...opps!...and have done everything all peachy keen with everyone on here's help.

BUT when it gets to Pooling Phone, or as I refer to it now cos it shits me "Pooing The Phone" it stops.

Here's the end of my journal...
    "Rebooting...
    Finishing CMT session...
    Restarting CMT...
    Pooling phone..."

After this it says something along the lines of "Did your phone turn back on, Yes No?"
when I click "No" cos it didn't back on, it just says "Done!"...though it clearly isn't done, or indeed turns on at all.

But when I click yes it thinks for a while then says...
    "Phone not found...
    Second try...
    MCUSW: (null)
    APESW: (null)
    VariantSW: (null)
    Prodcode:
    Setting test mode...
    Failed! Aborting!
    Done!"

Though again, no, it isn't Done at all. It's just made everything worse I'm assuming.

So does anyone have any tips as to why this might be happening?
I'd take it to the Nokia Care shop but they'll be all like "err"

Thank you, this has worked for me. It's worth noting the FW files need to be in their own folder within Products - e.g. Products/RM-505.
