hi guys. I need an advice. I bricked my 5800 after NSU update (it took only 2 minutes) although it said Update sucessfull. Now, after switching on, my phone only lit and show some stripes few times and switch off.

i used jaf and get simillar log as someone above me:

    and nothing happend
jaf show me warning and said phone do not responce
This procedure stops on Pooling phone, 5800 start showing stripes and JAF says Phone not responding.
I tried also update via Phoenix, but there is also problem of phone response. Everything went well (copying, programming,...) but at the end, it just stops responding :-(

    Any advice? Thx.

BTW. I dont wanna give it to nokia care service, i'd rather try to repair it myself if possible.

BTW2. JAF really won't find ini files while downloading FW through NAVIFIRM (cuz it won't download any ini)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    EDIT:

uff....after 8 hrs of hard work i finally brought it back to life I just put some 4 ini files i found somewhere together with the 7 FW files from NAVIFIRM and tried JAF again. And it worked...

aaaah...maybe you're right i ticked files one by one (7 files total), so that was the problem. Do you think, it is possible to use ini files from different FW? I know...it's working now, but i wanna be sure it won't hurt my phone

i'm afraid, you'll still have v21. Just think: You'll rollback FW -> you'll brick your phone. Than, the only way to unbrick, would be to load v21 FW. Am i right?

btw. I still can't see those mf ini files in NAVIFIRM (7 files only)
