    Yeah, I'd like the EURO 2 version (or the Scandinavian/Norwegian version) instead of my version with 'only' Dutch, English, French, German, Italian and Turkish. I already found the code for that, it's just the changing that's scary, especially after reading that N97-problem of 'spid3rman' today.

    (And if I'd go to a Nokia Care point, I'd probably have to pay for an extra language pack, and it'll disappear after every update.)

    Anyway, thx again

    @guji-dude,
    The important part is: you can change a product code, but it cannot be lower than the FW version you have.
    For example, if your FW is V31.0.101, while the Three has the latest as V21.0.025, then you are out of luck.
    So, check that first.

    Yes, that product code should work, as you are upgrading from V21 to V30 within RM-356 range.

    No. However, most of the will be deleted if you update the FW.

    Question about this.

    My RM is 356

    And when i check the latest update when i put my code number, it says only v21.

    Question.
    1. When i change my product code, can i change my Rm too?

    2. My cousin and I have same phone with same RM-356
    When i put his code, it can update on v31, while mine is only v21

    Why is that i can't update in v31 while we have the same Rm-356?

    This is not recommended, as it may cause functionality problems.

    Not all codes within the same product type advance to the same FW. For example, yours might be branded with a custom FW from your mobile operator, while your cousin's phone might be unbranded. Branded phones are known to receive FW upgrades later, because the operator needs to re-customize the new version.
    Hence, the solution is to de-brand your phone (change the product code) to a generic/unbranded code.
