V31 is official latest FW for 5800XM, but we expect new version to come in 2 weeks.
Yes, you can change it back the same way.

LOL. V31 is already available since the beginning of Sep.
We are expecting the new one (possibly called V2.0). These are hot topics in the forum, read them.

Close PC/OVI suite while performing the operation!
Start NSS, and when asked, connect the phone in PC Suite mode.

    The sequence is important.
    1) Close and disconnect everything (restart the PC).
    2) Start NSS
    3) Connect the phone when asked (in PC Suite mode). Windows should detect your phone based on the USB drivers installed.
    4) Change the code.
Read the steps and try it again. I have changed recently the product code for someone's phone following these steps.

    Well,
    I've tried your suggestions.
When installing the option" F1 USB drive",
    than the magnifying-glass is working.
The "phone info" button works too.
Than I hit the "scan" button,
and I get "scan for product...error"

When installing the option "F1 USB device" ,the magnifying-glass is not working at all..
