The generic red uk code 0552438 is probably the best as it's unbranded to any of the networks.

This link is not working from page 1
    1. Download JAF 1.98.62.exe
    http://support.phone-tools.cn/files/...up_1.98.62.exe

You can download the 4 part winrar files they are working.

I can't get the 4-part rar files to extract properly

Parts 2 to 4 tell me that the .exe already exists in the destination folder and asks me whether to overwrite it or not. No matter what I tell it, the extract fails.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Many thanks,
    Paul.

S'OK - my mistake...seeing as the files are called 'part 1', 'part 2', etc. I was trying to extract them to a single folder.

I then tried extracting them all to separate folders and then just ran the .exe in the Part 1 folder and it seems to have worked!

Well, what can I say but 'Oh My God!!' That was one of the scariest things I've ever done with a piece of technology - the thought of bricking my phone almost put me off trying this, but I went with it, followed the script and it worked!

Now I've gotten rid of all that crappy branding and have got my Google back! Yay!!

Thanks for this - I'm a happy bunny again!

    Cheers,
    Paul.

Hi there, I'm having a bit of trouble with the update on my 5800. I've changed the product code and tried to update via NSU but it crashed half way so my phone is locked in flash mode.

I've got the 20.0.12 v4 EMEA firmware file and trying to use phoenix to update but it always says I cannot install an older firmware. As this is the newest firmware im a bit stuck.

One problem is that i am not sure of the product code i changed it to and now i cannot read it using any program. Is there a way to find out and will selecting a different product code from the list result in the above error?
