I DID NOT flash with any navifirm files. I went directly from v40 to Pixel*1 and the screen distorted. I put back in my original screen and it was ok. I put back in the ebay screen, distorted. Its a hardware issue with the non-genuine nokia screens. The pixel*1 firmware works flawlessly im very happy with it.

I have the patches folder in 'memory card' and it has all the patches in it. I have went to ropatcher in the software and selected to add them to auto. But they do nothing...

My post was to help newbies really, i dont have any skill or knowledge with rofs3 etc, i do not know or understand what they are! i was merely trying to help newbies who want a nice new CFW without getting bogged down in technical words etc!

That's pretty nice of u. Ur first +1 added!

overall, Pixel is great compared with original 50.0.005 firmware .
but i prefer using Xtension^10, because i found that in Pixel, the theme effect isn't responsive as Xtension do.

so i decided to reflash my phone with Xtension^10 V2 files, then i removed the Pixel's C00,Rofs2,Uda. with Xtension's Rofs2,Rofs3,Uda + 50.0.005 C00 files. in the end, my phone Bricked! :P WTF?!?

then i tried to Using Xtension's CFW files + Pixel's C00 files, same problem..
then i tried to flashing it back to Pixel, and it works.. but i want my Xtension back...

Please help, i'm to lazy to search about it in the entire forum.

my latest flash firmware is 50.0.5, not the 51.0.6.
and i'm using the 50.0.5 from navifirm too for the C00 file.

as we know, that Xtension support both of them.

i've checked in *#0000#, my software version is "V Pixel*1" it should be 50.0.5 in Xtension.

this is new my phone, i'm using this phone for 5 days now..
i've already faced a lot of problem, i've bricked my HTC Diamond and Elfin, and revive it back to live.
but it's Windows Mobile, i'm noob on Symbian. :P

    looking forward for the Help

Ok, what u do is, download Nokia 5800 OG v51 files from Navifirm, copy to Phoenix\RM-356 folder. Then download Xtension ^10 n put in Phoenix\RM-356 folder and replace with the existing files. Make sure u rename the files according to the og fw. N then use JAF n flash ur fone.

This should work. If ur fone bricks (It shouldnt, but in case), then try flashing with OG fw n flashing again with Xtension.

If then too u find problems, then go here n try:

All the very best. Hit thanks if helped!

Xtension was not built for v52, as there was no v52 update when Upa made this cfw. So there is a very high possibility that u may brick ur fone when flashing with Xtension files.

So if u want Xtension, don't go for v52 files.
