Quick question though... did something change in the way fonts are rendered when viewing webpages? They don't seem as sharp as before... meaning they seem...smudgy now. It's particulatly noticeable on GMail, but it's the same in all webpages.. including the one I most use, Wikipedia. Any way to fix this?

edit: oh yeah, and also... is there any way to add more homescreens? I noticed there's a flavor of Minima with 7 HSs but only for RM-356... anything out there for us RM-428ers?
    Try Opera Mobile
    Font rendering is sexy.

    EDIT: Comparison below

Crap! When I first installed the CFW I had these awesome transition effects (ie when you closed something it looked like it was "flipped away") but now after restoring my backup from the PC and playing around with the theme they're gone and no matter what combination of having KastorUI in the ROMpatcher on/off/auto with the theme effects on/off with ANY theme gets the animations back.... what am I doing wrong??

edit: Ok, I noticed something else... when I use the Orange Theme the clock used to be different, analog but orangey.. now it looks just like it does in the default theme, digital... I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the gone transitions? I'm thinking the backup overwrote some settings or something... ugh, I feel like a noob.

No.. it's not applied... but it never was applied that I know of even when I DID have the transitions? What does that patch do anyway?

In fact... is there some place where we can see what all the patches do? Some have a good description in Patch Info, but most just say the name and I'm lost as what exactly they do... (complete patch newb here)

!!! WTF?! I applied the c2z patch and the display when purple and pixely and then the phone just restarted itself!

    EDIT:

Alright.. the weirdness continues... after the phone restarted itself like described above, the transitions were back! I had orange theme on (still digital clock) and I switched to another theme (Orbits grey)... the transitions disappeared. I switched back to Orange theme... the transitions are still gone. Selecting "Theme Effects > ON" has no effect.

    Help?

A bad C2Z patch has odd effects
Generate your own one using C2Z

ARGH! I set c2z and c2z Thumb to Auto.... and now my phone restarts itself over and over again.

Did I just eff it up for good? Oh man, not good.

On phone startup, try to get to RomPatcher before it autostarts

No use, I can't even get to the applications folder.

    I'm re-flashing with JAF... I hope I don't brick it.

So.. what does this mean? Is the c2z patch Oreo included in the CFW bugged for RM-428? What do I do?
