Hi oreo, quick question. I'm in the USA, rm428, latest available v40. Would I need to change product code before loading this cfw?
    Thanks.

    Hi Oreo,

    When you say :

    RM-428
    Minima 1.2
American, Canadian French, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish requested by noise672 - Download Link

    Minima 1.3
Dutch, American, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish - Download Link

Is the French language in Minima 1.3 the same (Canadian) as in Minima 1.2 ? The keyboards are different and voice recognition works much better with Canadian French for me. There is also other less important differences.
I have not flash 1.3 yet.

Please tell me more. Thank you much. +1

NO, you don't need to care about product code. I'm in the same situation. I have RM-428 (0577454) and Minima is perfect on my phone.
    Ciao

everything went well, however, when I tried enabling the patch c2z(1.1).rmp, it went into a "looped" reboot. So i just did a hard reset, and I thought everything was ok but after that, I can't access the menu. It always said "system error". I tried restarting a few times after that but to no avail. So I reflashed my phone again and did not enable the c2z(1.1) and the one below that (c2z thumb something). I think that Kastor UI was also related to those so I did not enable it as well.

I googled it a lil and I think there's something that needs to be done before patching it at rompatcher, I have no idea what it does tho, so if you can provide a lil bit of information why you added it in the first place, that would be helpful. It may have been posted before here so I'm sorry if I asked again.

Anyway, I just didn't turn on those three patches, are those ok?
actually, each patch does something on it's own and only need installserver rp+ and open4all. the first one allows you to install anything and the second one allows you to view/edit system files and folders.

i placed those there because at the time of making, those are the patches that are working for the 5800. you'll only need those in certain situations. i added them there for user's convenience.

One last question (maybe you know, noise)...I have rm428 w/ pc 0577454 (just like noise). The highest available nokia fw is v40. If I put on minima 1.3, a cfw based on v50, and I want to go back to Nokia (v40), isn't this essentially a downgrade in firmware. Could it be done I know that downgrades aren't able to be done w/o special equip. In this scenario, is it considered a downgrade to revert to the nokia v40

From v50 to v40: Yes I believe it would be a downgrade and could not be done.

    Oreo, can you confirm.

    kbwillie,

If you want or must stay on v40 because of waranty or any other reason, Oreo have a very good v40 CFW.

    Hei oreo27,
I've just installed Minima 1.3 today and i'm satisfied with this cfw. It's fast, stable and no bugs found so far.
I want to ask you where i can find "patches" from rompatcher?
I need to replace c2z 1.1 with 1.2 version because 1.1 crash my phone. Did you know why this happen ?
