Default [Solved] Integrate scheduled alarms and Connection Settings to cfw.

    Hello,

I like this board very much, so this is my first post.
I'm trying to customize my Firmware v50 for 5800 and add my own configs after flashing or hard resetting.
(I'm resetting and flashing many times so it easier when i don't have to configure all things every time)
With scriptint.txt it didn't work (it copys nothing to C:\private\10202be9\persits\, don't know why), so now i am using the uda file to copy the configs to C: drive.
Does somebody know where the alarm clock config is saved?

This is what i found until now, but there is no alarm clock. Read more (german).
I hope it is allowed to post this link. If not i will remove it.

    Thank You!
    Manitax

    Hi m8!

The following file contains all the scheduled alarms (alarm events and alarms). I suggest you to put on z in a different path and then copy in the right one with scriptinit.txt, to avoid possible permanent alarms in the CFW:

    c:\private\101f5027\AlarmServer.ini

About your scriptinit problem, please write here the commands you are using, we can try to help you...

    Cu m8

    Thanks larryvincent!

this is the scriptint line that does not work:

    CP Z:\Private\10202be9\persists\* C:\Private\10202be9\persists\

perhaps somebody knows what is wrong.

I remember I read somewhere that scriptinit can't copy to persists folder...

Yeah...but I think it stops to copy just for some files...try to copy the single files, for example:

    CP Z:\Private\10202be9\persists\xxx.cre C:\Private\10202be9\persists\

    Let us know

    Yeah it works! Thank you!
Just copy connection settings "cccccc00.cre" does not work. But it also didn't work with uda.

Edit: Some files won't copy with scriptinit, i think cause it does not overwrite files. When i delete "cccccc00.cre" and copy it after that, then it works!

btw here some other Settings from persists folder "private\10202be9\presists\":

    Profile 101f8798.cre
    Connections cccccc00.cre
    GPS Server 102073d6.cre

    +1plz if this helped you

Does anybody know where the settings of the homescreen are saved (which widget at what place)? ATM i restore a backup file and get a error message after restart and all widgets are removed from homescreen... I have a N97.

    THX in advance!

EDIT: Can anyone confirm that its "10275104.cre"?

I guess that file is for 5800. The N97 HS is a completely different animal. Have you tried backing up/restoring it to confirm ?

    THX for your answer!
I compared all files in 'c:\private\10202be9\persists' before and after editing the homescreen. Only '10275104.cre' changed in filesize and date!
You said 'Have you tried backing up/restoring it to confirm ?'. Everytime i try to restore my correct homescreen backup file i get an error message and my homescreen is empty after restoring! I thought about it but i'm not sure: Does restoring the backup file restore the 10275104.cre from 'z:\private\10202be9' like the Connections 'cccccc00.cre' or does it create a new 10275104.cre depended on the 'z:\private\10202be9\10275104.txt'?... I will try tomorrow.

Did you restart your phone after that?
    If not, try it.

If it still not work, try it with scriptinit.txt
you have to flash your phone!
    here the lines:

    DEL "C:\private\10202be9\persists\10275104.cre"
    CP "E:\bak\private\10202be9\persists\10275104.cre " C:\private\10202be9\persists\

put the "10275104.cre" file in this folder on your memory card "E:\bak\private\10202be9\persists\"

i can't try it sorry, just have a 5800 but it should work.
