    Same here, shame sh!t...
Admin rights given, set compat mode to XP sp3 and so on...
Normal install till it suddenly close at the same point (vsbsetup.exe)
When open JAF at loading INI stage it shows "nothing" into there, just a blank empty "Select phone model" window.

OS: Win7 Ultimate x86. Power user btw...

just ignore the error, it'll continue installing..
    trust me...

    if you experience:

FLash files corrupt, mean that the FW files is corrupted maybe unexpected download behavior...

if experience exception, means, the FW files also corrupted...

Im using 7 64bit, i figure out all jaf problem...

Got no errors here (no corrupt files or whatever), it just finishes to install, but in some unexpected way, you know, usually gets an finish message saying: view read me, or installation finished succesfully...such things, some kinda dialog to let you know that the app was installed. But the only I got is nothing, in fact I can open JAF till the "load INI" stage, then it just shows the "select phone model" dialog empty/blank (nothing to pick up) oh btw got the jaf_nok4models.ini properly installed.

I think the problem is my x86 OS, people with windows 7 64 bit got JAF up & running as well.

It doesn't work for me? Everything in compatibility mode, ran as administrator...
Can someone please make step by step (for the retarded ones like me , with screenshots) guide?
Do we need to connect the phone in PC suite mode or?
does the Ovi suite need to be closed?
Does the emulator start the jaf or do we start the jaf after the emulator? do we need to press something in emulator...
    Thanks in advance...
