    Default [Idea] SPB Mobile Shell as CFW

    Cookers or modders ^^ Can you make a firmware or operatins system running SPB Mobile Sell based Symbian? Is it possible?

    the one that is around the net isn┤t yet ready and it is not allowed to post it here. when it is ready it will be payware. so you have to buy it then and make your own cfw with it

    that's true It eats RAM too much. although it's not laggy on Symbian Think of it when it's the only operating system

    The only help here is using a very stripped down cfw with as much ram as possible.
    i am getting approx. 32 mb of free memory within spb shell with asoutiyal's Lightning Fast V4 and a few apps loaded (jbak taskman, total recall and freetimebox).
    Avoid using the contacts homescreen (eats too much ram compared to the basic homescreen).

    Omina Basic HS is a good choice!

    Yeah, using one of the new stripped down CFWs with jbak taskman (making SPB Shell autostart) and together with total recall loaded in the background I get approx 40-45 MB free RAM using the professional homescreen.

    when spb shell is running, press middle key long to bring jbak taskman to the front.
    Now select spb shell on the left side, tap on "Menu", choose "Program rules", check "Autostart".
