My Nokia 5800 is from India Type RM-356.This Phone was bought from U.P. India.
Released in India by "Nokia India Pvt. Ltd." New Delhi with date of manufacture " Jan 2009"

Product Code : 0575590 colour Red.

When Purchased this phone came with ( S/W Ver.V11 ,Language Set 19 contained all 3 Langages ENGLISH, PHILIPINO and HINDI.

But after Firmware upgrades to ( S/W Ver.V30 and v40) I am left with only ENGLISH & PHILIPPINO.

I want to add HINDI language to this list.

The Nokia Care Centers in India are unabe to do so....

Please come up with a solution as to how to manage HINDI language.

I have already Googled & checked most sites and could not find the HINDI Language Update. (though URDU etc. are present via firmware).

Tecnical Experts please provide SOLUTION.... (Uptill now No one Has been able to solve this problem)

It looks as if the ecom-2-0.spi of the N97 is build an other way then the ecom-2-0.spi from the 5800. And without a N97 I can't test it.. Sorry.

liliantungary is the only one who could provide us with a Hindi language pack. Maybe you need to ask her where she found it. Because I've also searched a lot for you but I can't even find the original V11 firmware which contained Hindi. Without it, I can't help you. I wish I had a magic wand...

Thanks for your efforts, but still dont get it.
You mean copy the text string ex. ;...T9EnglishkJ..}t.........#.*.....q ..........q ....T9 language.....7..... from the beginning [;] to the last [.] before the new [;] then paste it in the wanted epi file?

What is the main advantage in this method since you can just add more epi-files in the same cfw ex. ecom-2-0.spi, ecom-2-1.spi, etc. It works for me.

Why didn't you use Nokia Custom Dictionary ?

It's used to be custom T9 for users.
    download from here http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia...d_installation

and now I create T9 words list from here
    http://www.manythings.org/vocabulary...s.php?f=noll01

just create words using XML tag.

you can import that words from this file

Thx, nice program, but it cannot backup default words and restore it after flashing with CFW without my language. It only see manualy added words.

Another question is does it slow phone when custom word list is big.
