Thanks, it worked ( but then why is there two path options?). Also some idea:
    - Put the loading of files to a separate thread
    - Rename some stuff to more explanatory names
    - Some nice graphics for buttons?

Ok, that was what I misunderstood

It's not so hard, the tricky part is when you have to pass the new thread the path's

just for the buttons, or maybe totally going to WPF?

WPF is Windows Presentation Foundation. It is a lot easier and more effective way to create applications. Not that it even has more elements to use, they can be configured to the last bit with the new XML based configuration file. No need for the old x.designer.cs file, with it you can do anything easier! And it still uses C# as a main language, so if you want me, I can drop a new UI for you together!

can you please make a UI only sample that fits my app for me to decide if its worth the "move" to WPF?

    Here you go!
You will need .Net 3.5 for this, and it does not have any function (although I wanted to add checkboxes to the Language Editing's ListView, but there weren't enough time ), but shows a very good example of WPF
