Default [QUESTION] Question before flashing my phone!!!

I've just completed my first CFW and I'm ready to flash my phone with JAF, but before that I have some questions:

    1. In case I bricked my phone, would I be able to flash back the original Nokia v40 FW? (I heard you can't downgrade, we modded/added some files, won't the phone/jaf think we "upgraded" our phone?)

    2. I've read tutorials about flashing and some said we have to tick Normal, some said we have to tick both Normal and Factory Settings and some didn't even mention that we have to tick those values. I'm really confused now, which one am I suppose to tick? And when they say Factory Settings, is it the Factory Set under 'Downgrade' or Factory Settings under 'Service Settings'?

    Thanks
Hope to get my answers soon!

    M8,
first of all don't forget to back up your phone
    format your phone (power button+green+red+camera)
    format memory card

    1. goto program files nokia phonex products and rm 356 folder... inside rm 356 folder there will b another folder with rm356 v40.... delete it...
then paste ur cfw in the rm356 folder
now start jaf tick manual flash tick dead usb untick crt... and tick ini and select ur phone eg. nokia 5800 rm356 -d
    and pres flash button
it will show u a warning
    now switch off ur phone
press ok in the warning box
and after 2 seconds just press the power button in ur phone(just 1ce and donot keep pressing)
    after it shows done
    unplug from pc
    enjoy
