    UPDATE
    - WINRAR is working in Z:, that's an app that urgently needs c:\private\E39770C0\winrar.ini or it won't start. Here's how to do it:
    1 put extracted files into rofs2 (incl. private\e39770c0\winrar.ini)
    2 edit private\100059c9\scriptinit.txt and add at the bottom
    CD C:\Private\
    MD E39770C0\
    CP Z:\Private\E39770C0\* C:\Private\E39770C0\
    3 build and flash rofs
    4 enjoy winrar working from Z:

    for the above listed programs it's quite easy to integrate them: Just extract the files from the .sis and place into rofs2 dir.

    You'll have to try, I use ActiveFile and that's not working...

    Most programs expect their files on eg c:\resource\apps or e:\resource\apps and won't work. I'm not a symbian-developer, so the following is guessing mixed with logical thinking :-)

    SETTINGS:
    If the app doesn't make settings files, most probably it will work from z:
    If the app needs settings files, try and error: in z:, then in z: and c:, then in c: only (have a look at the update from the first post on how to copy settings after a *#7370* automatically)

    EXECUTEABLES:
    If the app looks for files on the very same drive it was started from, most probably it will work from z:
    If the app has c: or e: hardcoded in it -> we'd need to patch the executables
