Default Don MC DIY 5800 CFW Drop-in package - Mod your own language pack easily!

I've posted this in my CFW thread also, but not many people have noticed it. So it perhaps deserves a thread of its own. Here we go:

CFW mod DIY drop-in package. Mod your own firmware!
Below is a bunch of mods in a zip file, so you can easily drop them into the rofs yourself. You can add them one by one, or all at once. There's a readme with instructions inside. Now you can mod a firmware of your own language pack in an instant. Just download your own language firmware with Navifirm and start modding.
Note: Not a single one of these is actually my own work. I've just collected them and made into an easy to install directory tree type package. So don't ask me how to make different mods and how to create animations etc, because I'm stupid and I simply do not know.

    Mods included:
    -Move cache to E:
    -Camera image quality & shuttersound.
-Disable unnecessary start of apps during bootup.
-Disable My Nokia and Welcome SMS.
-Hacking patchfiles (need only to install RomPatcher+ and then apply patches).
-New homescreens (Omnia HS, 6 icons HS, Navbar HS by Upakul).
-Changed splashscreens (Startup: Nokia Hacked 3 hands, Shutdown: Nokia logo yellow/black).
-New theme effect: SpinSlide v.40 by Mr G).
-File caching for all drives enable (supposed to make phone faster).
-GIF Booting by Oreo27 and Crazyyen, plus a few gifs by other developers included in package.
Enables you to change your startup animation without having to reflash the phone.

Maybe we need a section where final patches can be found. Here it wont be found due to many requests.

Oh, an thx for the package

Hope you're going to add: http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.p...html#msg176946

Oh, and for shuttersound another possibilty would be to go to:
    \rofs2\System\sounds\digital\
and create a new empty file called "cameraappCapture4.wav" i.e.
this way, the camera remains silent only if you select shuttersound4

nice pack I really like it. can you make a separate mod without disabling the shutter sound when taking pictures. many users have this already when the warning tones are set to off. I referring to this camera_quality_shuttersound

Will think about that. Do you mean ANY empty file with that name will do? Or should it be a 1sec silent wav?
Could put both mods in there. Warning tone and wav file.

Just create a new empty txt file and rename it that'll do the trick...

Hello Don, thanks for the customization pack.
Any chance you could add the famous recording beep suppress patch?

Do you know of further things that could be left out to improve free RAM/ROM?

Does anyone here have the ability to put together a list of loaded apps at startup / preinstalled apps in Z and C drive with their appropriate size?

    Thanks,
    br

    Hi Amber.
Recorder beep is a good idea for my next version. Keep 'em coming.
Can you point me to a thread where I can find some more info, please?

@SkipXS: Will do. Will be added in next release.
Shutter sound disabled if warning tones set to off. Or alternatively disabled if warning tones are "on" but Capture tone set to "Camera 4".

Don't know excactly when I'll have the time for this, but sooner or later...

    Will look into it.
In the meanwhile you can delete the file "101F8809.txt" in folder /private/10202be9/ of the DIY pack.
That will leave the shutter sound untouched.
