    Default Nokia step counter - Nokia 5800 and N97 - s60v5

Nokia Step Counter does what it says on the tin: it counts the number of steps you take by analyzing how you 'shake' your phone. Since most people have their phone with them everywhere they go, it is natural to use the accelerometer in an S60 product to track your daily activity. This is actually the S60v3 version but it seems to work on S60v5 phones.

For some reason the sw worked for me in firmware 10. In firmware 11 it just says, that "engine cannot start"

I had it working in v10 and now in v11 too. I've had the same "engine cannot start" message in v10
If you uninstall and install the app you will get the same error again
The solution I've found was to delete the file memorycard:/stepcounter/config.dat
You will need to input your personal data again.
    Someway the file gets corrupted....
If that doesn't work after deleting the config.dat file, try uninstalling and reinstalling, that should do the trick

PS : You don't loose any info on the exercices/workout you've made before

Does it count correctly and what about the energy consumption with this program enabled (on a Nokia 5800)?
