    Default Help With Flashing Nokia N91 JAF

    First of all to the Modders, If this is wrong place then sorry and please move it, but I did not know where to post it,

    I have N91 4GB
    v 2.10.013
    15-0-06
    RM-43
    N91 (08.01)

    I've downloaded the FW from Navifirm and trying to update to 3.10.23 by JAF, it doesn't detect my Phone,
    JAF 1.98.62, Pkey v5
    Can someone please help?

    Make sure OVI Suite or Pc Suite is not running (not even in your system tray)

    When it says press power on the phone now, you don't actually hold the power button you just press it very quickly, like half a second. try this mate.

    Sir, pressing power button, I know abt it, I have flashed N no.of times my 5800, so I know abt it, but i think the problem is something else..., trying to update NSU and will try to update the phone from NSU and then Hard Reset once and will let you know...
    I never run OVI suite on my system and PC suite was off

    Update Was able to update my N91 through NSU but it only updates upto 2.20.008 where as I have seen in Navifirm that there is a FW available 3.10.xxx i dont know why NSU doesn't update it and the position is still the same, It cannot detect the phone, I dont know wheres the prob...

    updates are only available through certain product codes mate. have you checked the product codes in navifirm vs. yours?

    about the flashing, have you tried changing usb ports?

    Yes, I checked and it would be kind if you can also check, complete info is given in the first post of this thread...

    Changed USB ports but still the same.

    mate. i didn't see your product code in the previous posts. what is your product code?

    Here's the only product code for India for the latest firmware

    I downloaded the first one INDIA Default, didnt dl that 8gb because my phone is not 8gb but 4gb, the question is not abt the fw but jaf doesn't recognise the phone while I try to switch it on....

    Maybe you could try changing your product code to India Default. Follow this guide.

    Then update it via NSU. After that, try again if you really want to flash it with JAF. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance mate.
