Default Re: Nokia 6120c with 7.10 fw?

    Hi all,
I'm new here and i'm trying to upgrade my 6120c to 7.20.
I've been reading quite a lot lately, and my first attempt was very successful, i used the method by changing the product code and using NSU.
I'm now i'm in 7.10 everything is working very fine exept .... the language, i'm french and the product code i found on another forum (0566299) is euro3.

I have 2 questions, is it possible with JAF to change only the ppm, so i can have french and stay in 7.10?
    or

i have downloaded the DPcare38 to upgrade to 7.20, but when i open JAF do an INF with my product code, it detect me with only the MCU (i unsterdand it because this product code it not part of the DP).
Then i chose in the list a version that suit me for example product code 0553350 in euro1.
    Ok now is the question
when i select this, JAF automaticaly select the right files for MCU PPM CNT and APE, but i'm not sure it's right:

    Changing flashing settings...
    Detected P-KEY: ********
    P-key nokia module version 01.02
    Init usb communication...
    Reading...
Searching for default location of ini...
    Checking path: C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-243\
    FILES SET FOR FLASHING:
    MCU Flash file: C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-243\rm243_07.20_prd_core.fpsx
    PPM Flash file: C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-243\rm243_ENO_A_2009wk15v0.100.fpsx
    CNT Flash file: C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-243\rm243_07.20_prd_vB01_01_euro1.fpsx
    APE Variant file: C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-243\rm243_07.20_prd_UDA_Classic_Blue.fpsx

In my understanding the ppm is the file which is currently located in CNT, which is rm243_07.20_prd_vB01_01_euro1.fpsx, am i wrong ? JAF should display something like "this ppm file contain : english, french ...etc", but it doesn't
it looks like to me JAF is mixing things ...

what is the rm243_ENO_A_2009wk15v0.100.fpsx file ?

What do you think, should i let it that way and flash, or ..what ?

    Thanks for your help
    Ludo

You can flash without any fear , i made it that way an everything was ok; by the way i don┤t know if 7.20 can be edited so if you want to make a cfw you should stay with 7.10.

If you upgrade to 7.20 and it┤s editable please let us know.

I'm making one based on 7.10 fw, but i'm waiting for a proper theme effects patch/workaround; the actual one is a little buggy.

If you are from Spain search rm243_CareDP_38.0_EMEA_6120c on google, it┤s the 7.20 firmware from nokia care and have spanish among others languages and a lot of product codes.
You will have to flash using jaf.

Hi all guys, I was searching for a more recent version for my firmware (I have 6.01) and I've found o0larry0MVAWF's message. So I used the product code he suggested, and upgrade worked properly to 7.10. But the "operating system" on my device completely changed (now it's Orange, I dont' even know what is it) and language is English. I'm Italian so I was searching some help to reset language and software. Any suggestion please?

    Greetings to all
