    Default Realplayer Streaming problems

    Hello!

The built in software Realplayer doesnt seem to stream video at all?

The phone connects to internet through a wireless router and works fine to browse
the internet with. When going to videostreaming sites like youtube etc the videostreaming
opens the realplayer app connects, and the load is on 0% all the time and nothing happens?
You can get around this on youtube by selecting the link for desktop version and it instead opens in flash on the site but its sad that the realplayer aint enable to stream any videoclips, maybe not supports all streamed formats?
Then when im going to serveral news sites and trying to stream tv , realplayer opens->connects->loading 0% and nothing happens??

I wonder if the new firmware 11 is able so solve any of my issues with video streaming?

    Any suggestions to solve this?

The realplayer should be able to stream the videos.
maybe its something with your connection settings?

create a new internet setting so that youll have 2 of them, use one for the internet surf and one ONLY for the streaming, and under the realplayer settings you can make the application only use the streaming settings.

    Hello!

Tried as you suggested but, the realplayer opens, connects and stay with loading0%
I often visit mobile newssites and it always open the videos i realplayer who doesent work.
Thats really bad for me ;(

It often says "you have to connect to the server" followed by a yes and no button.
after pressing yes it takes about 10 seconds ant then it says "could not connect".

Is there other manufactorers that have a better implementation to stream videos from the web?

Tried the settings to 3 streaming instead of my wlan and it worked perfectly??
It would be quite expensive to stream from the phoneprovider instead of my wlan witch i would prefer?

Very strange man! Seems like a bug or something. do me a favor and try to open the link from Opera mini instead of the internet browser, do you still get the same message?

the strange thing is that i also had that problem long time ago with the svt.se mobile vidz and SR.se mobile pod casts but the problemes solved itself after a few weeks.
Maybe the streaming server must ad a extra setting string or something but that sounds strange that they must do that to have a working stream

On the svt.se the streaming doesnt work in either the built in web browser nor the Opera Mini 4.2
It says - You need to install flash to view this videos
    Link to adobe flash site
it says - your device is not supported?

thats a default message that links to adobes main page since the sites thinks that a normal computer is browsing the site. but you should not use the svt.se use this link: http://mobil.svt.se

    does the streaming work?

    Hello!

when i select the link from http://mobil.svt.se i get the option to eihter save or to open.
when i chose to open the link for streaming the builtin internet browser pops upp, realplayer starts and ask if i would like to save the video in .3gp format, then it plays in the realplayer

    Really spooky....
