Default How to receive large file via bluetooth?

Hello guys, yesterday I was in christmas church and of course very bored as were my friends. So one of them wanted to send me a 141mb movie over bluetooth but my phone said there was not enough space!

I have a Nokia N95 with a 8gig memory card. The phone probably wants to save the file to some local folder but it should save the file on the memory card! I have looked in all menu's and stuff and didn't find a way for bluetooth received files to be on the memory card. Also when accepting the file there's only 'yes' or 'no' and no 'options' or anything!

Anyone knows how I can accept larger files then then local memory will allow? If I clean everything out and move all to the memory card I have like 30megs or so which is not a lot!

I know bluetooth isn't made for long transfers but since we were in church we had all the time of the world and it DID work with other phones (K750i, K800i).

As far as I know, all Nokias will use the internal memory to store received messages. Since you are not using a 3rd party tool - like a file manager able to use FTP over BT - there is no chance at the moment.
I do not know the N95 exactly, but look at the settings (phone and/or BT), maybe there is a possibility to change the used memory.

dude, you play with your phone in church?

the files are always stored in the phonememory (yeah i know it sucks) and then you need to manually copy or move them to the memorycard.

its been like that since the beginning. I dont know why they havent fix this yet, its the same as the sms and mms counter

Use a file manager (Active file, Y-Browser etc) and you won't care about which memory to use.

you can also use a ftp bluetooth app, it connects to the phone and you can see the files on that phone and download it directly to your memorycard
