    i think you are right

so in this case you need to mod your original firmware file

this is the easiest way i know

i will give you th easiest way to know any possible change with product code

after successful flash (with modding rofs) with jaf

at {service settings} mark prod. manager

then press the button (service) at the top

read your values then you will know if it have been changed or not

& then you can write any value you want

    Hi.
Does anybody here have the JAF v1.98.64 setup? I can't find it anywhere, only the 1.98.62 and 1.98.65, which both don't work for me.
    Thanx a lot for help!
    Tom

i have uploaded files for you

install 1.98.62 then add these files to jaf folder & overwrite exisiting files then overwrite again with fixed jaf

    http://www.4shared.com/file/vc6MHnCu/JAF19864.html

    http://www.4shared.com/file/m4XEzpAY/JAF19864_fix.html

& don't forget to download virtual pkey v2

    i hope that works!

    good luck!

    @Energizer

I will try to help you! I have a N97 and tried a whole day to flash it... The solution was easy:
First my settings (all in 'BB5' tab): check 'manual flash', 'dead usb', 'factory set'. Then remove the checks of 'crt 308' and 'Normal Mode'. There are no checks under 'service settings'. Now you check 'use ini', wait a few seconds and a pop-up will appear. Here select RM-432 (should be your NOKIA 5630 XPress music) and press 'ok'.

Now the 'trick': turn the phone off and remove the battery. Leave the phone turned off and battery removed and connect it with your pc (phone still off because battery is outside). Now click on 'flash' in JAF and klick on yes on all prompts (one prompt in my case). Now insert the battery in your phone! (you dont need to hurry, you have about 20 seconds).

JAF should write 'Found', 'Sending RAW loader...' and so on! The last thing JAF should write is 'Operation took 0 minutes 6 seconds...
    Done!
    Done!'
Now disconnect your phone from pc, remove the battery and plug it in again. Now turn on your phone

    I hope this helped you!

    Hi.
Thanx a lot for your great tutorial and help. Unfortunately this I also tried with the same error. I think I'll stop trying, cause there's something else wrong, which we can't find out... But thanx all a lot for your support!

One more question: Are you sure that your drivers are correctly installed? You first have to install Nokia PC Suite, then JAF. But while installing JAF it will ask to install JAF drivers. Say NO!
    Did you do so?
