you need to tick these two

    factory set
    normal mode

    i recommend you to untick

manual mode (especially for people who just see blank pop up in "select phone model" under every condition )

the golden rule to successful connection to jaf and flashing with it, is when you connect your phone to pc/laptop donot select "pc suite connection" popup in phone or even anything else . Just open jaf and do the following.

bb5>> tick "pro. manager" and top right hand side under "operations" click "service" and then click on left tab . If your product code and other details in those vacant places popups in some 6-7 secs then your fone is connected if not then your phone has still not established connection with jaf.

p.s. it seems you are tryna flashing n96, i donot guarantee jaf "dead usb" flashing process with n96.
